Are you a busy mom that needs some organization tips? Busy moms need practical tools to stay organized. I am a work- from-home mom with two children and a long list of daily tasks. I’ve realized that when I’m unorganized, I feel stressed, anxious, and life is chaotic. Most busy moms can relate to just needing practical tools to implement into their daily life to help stay organized. One of the easiest ways that I’ve been able to get organized is by writing things down. As a busy mom, if I don’t write things down, I’ll probably forget about them. 1.Wake up Early
I love to start my days with waking up before my kids because I feel refreshed when I start my days early with planning and getting organized. 2.Top Priority Tasks
I’ve been using my VersaTiles memo board to write down my top 3 tasks for the day. As a busy mom, our days can get very hectic with all the responsibilities. However, I don’t feel as overwhelmed when I see my top 3 tasks for the day. This also allows me to put more of a focus on what’s most important to accomplish for the day.
3.Meal Prep
Meal prepping is a task that has helped save me so much time and helped me stay organized. Breakfast time, lunch time, and dinner time can get a little hectic especially when I’m not organized. I write down the meals for the day on my VersaTiles so my family doesn’t have to ask me. My husband can easily see what’s on the menu and he can start preparing dinner on the days when I’m busy. Having the menu written out for breakfast, lunch and dinner has been so helpful.
4.Delegate Tasks to Kids
I’ve used the VersaTiles to write down tasks for my kids. My daughter has really enjoyed this because I allow her to put a checkmark next to the tasks she completes. This helps me because I don’t have to do all the tasks around the house. It also helps my daughter take on more responsibilities.
5.Hire Help
As a busy mom, I’ve realized that sometimes hiring help is best. Specifically, I have a cleaning crew that comes to our house about 1-2x a month to deep clean my house. I typically write on my VersaTiles the days the cleaning crew will come to our house so that my husband will also know. As a busy mom, it’s important to communicate with your household and I’ve found it to be easy to communicate through writing on one of our VersaTiles located on the refrigerator door.
6.Simplify and Declutter
Simplifying and decluttering is a process and it doesn’t happen overnight especially if you have a lot of stuff. I have found it to be easy to declutter one room at a time over the course of a week. For example, one week I will focus on donating and decluttering my daughter’s room. I’ll write on the VersaTiles the room that we are focused on for the week.
