Spring is here! So that means Easter is right around the corner. I’m so excited to share all the goodies that I bought for my kids’ Easter baskets. If you know me, then you know that I always buy arts and crafts and/or educational activity fillers for their Easter baskets. I love buying simple items that my kids will be excited about. My kid’s love anything when it comes to arts and crafts and fun outdoor activities. I’m also very intentional about what I buy for their baskets and I keep it simple. I opt out of buying them candy. However, I do fill their easter eggs with some allergy friendly and/or healthier option sweet treats. I’ll share below some of my favorite brands for snacks for the kids.
Do you reuse your Easter baskets? I typically reuse the same easter baskets every year. However, this year, I decided to buy new ones that I’ll probably reuse for several years. I found these neutral tone baskets from Target. HERE is a link to the baskets. They come in a couple different sizes and I bought the medium size. I also bought these cute felt bunny and frog baskets for my kids. I used those to add some healthy sweet treats within some of their easter eggs. The kids will also use these baskets for when they go easter egg hunting. Everything that I bought for the kids was found at Target Dollar Spot. I also found a couple other goodies at Dollar Tree. So here are my Easter basket ideas for kids.
Tips for Easter Baskets
1. Reuse the Easter baskets every year.
2. Have a theme for the Easter baskets so it’s easier to shop. For example, the theme for my kid’s Easter baskets is arts and crafts and/or educational fun activities.
3. Shop at places like Target Dollar Spot or Dollar Tree for affordable basket fillers
4. Opt out of the candy and try brands like Annies, Made Good, and Yum Earth for a healthier option.
5. Personalize the baskets by adding the letter of your kid’s first name. The letters and ribbon are from Michaels.
