It’s Black History month and I love doing black history kid’s crafts! I celebrate black history 365 days, but for the month of February, I do a little extra! So I have you covered with a fun craft you can do with your kids. My background is in teaching so I believe one of the best ways to help a child learn is through hands-on-activities. Representation matters! Michaels is one of my favorite craft stores. So I love that they have an exclusive Black History craft collection available in store and online.
It’s really important for me to teach my son and daughter that they are beautiful in their skin. I want them to understand that their various shades of skin tones and curly hair is unique and beautiful. So, when I found these girl and boy shaped canvas faces at Michaels, I knew this would be a fun craft for my kids. These blank canvas faces will help inspire your little one to create their own masterpiece. So here’s everything you need for a fun black history craft for kids.
