One thing that keeps my kids busy is crafts! The winter months are almost here so we’ll be staying in the house a lot more often. I’m always looking for fun activities for my kids. From December 1st until December 12th, Michaels will be offering a FREE kids winter workshop online! Each day your kids will have the opportunity to create a holiday inspired project. The recommended age is 3+ . You can stop by Michaels or you can go online to pick up the instructions booklet and supply list. You can click here to register for the free workshop.
The 12 craft projects are:
Wednesday, December 1 – Craft Stick Truck Ornament
Thursday, December 2 – Craft Stick Holiday Window
Friday, December 3 – Christmas Clay Ornaments
Saturday, December 4 – Holiday Gnome Stick Puppets
Sunday, December 5 – Folded Paper Candles
Monday, December 6 – Foam Christmas Trees
Tuesday, December 7 – Paper Strip Penguin
Wednesday, December 8 – Pop-Up Christmas Tree Card
Thursday, December 9 – Penguin Drawing and Frame
Friday, December 10 – Collage Christmas Tree
Saturday, December 11 – Winter Frame
Sunday, December 12 – Clay Reindeer Photo Holder
Quick Tips for the Workshop
1. Give your child enough space to be able to move around and create their craft.
2. If your child is doing the craft on a table, lay out a tablecloth so it’s easy to clean up any mess.
3. Double check to make sure your child has all their supplies so they can keep up with the instructions during the project.
3. Offer encouragement and praise after your child has completed their project.
4. Save the instructions booklet and supplies list so you can do these projects again with your child.
I’m so excited for my kids to create some fun holiday inspired crafts. If you’re like me, be sure to have a list of go-to activities that you can do inside with your children during the winter months! Check out more of my holiday focused content!

Ashley
