I recently stopped by this beautiful boutique in Carytown! I had so much fun shopping throughout the store. When you enter Pop of Confetti it instantly makes you smile with all the beautiful bright colors. Pop of Confetti is a black owned/women-owned business in Richmond, VA. While I was at the boutique, I met the owner Allison and she was so sweet and had such a positive energy. She’s a wife, mother, and obsessed with all things art and design. She also spoke with me about her purpose of starting Pop of Confetti to amplify creative voices. We had a wonderful conversation and I loved her passion. I absolutely love that she created this collective of 16+ female makers featuring items like statement earrings, handmade candles, self care essentials, mugs, ceramic pottery, and so much more! Pop Confetti has so many one-of-a kind gifts that everyone will love.
Reasons I Love Supporting Small Businesses
One of the main reasons I love supporting and shopping local businesses is because of the personalized customer service. When I stopped by Pop of Confetti, I was able to really get to know the owner and she also was able to get to know me. The customer service was excellent. Oftentimes, small businesses want to get to know their customers and I love that. Another reason I love supporting small businesses is because I get unique pieces that I wouldn’t necessarily see at other stores. While I was shopping at Pop of Confetti, I bought some earrings and candles that were so beautiful and unique.
