The holiday season is here! Some of my favorite memories growing up was doing holiday crafts with my mom! I’m so excited that I am continuing the holiday craft tradition with my family. I love using my Cricut Explore 3 to make simple holiday crafts with my kids. A Cricut is a cutting machine that can cut designs from materials like paper, vinyl, card stocks, and iron on transfers. Using my Cricut has made designing so simple and fun! During the holiday and winter season I love having a list of go-to crafts that I can do with my kids. With my Cricut, the craft ideas are endless which means I can create so many memories with my kids. Here are simple holiday crafts with Cricut.
Christmas Cups
During the winter months I love sipping on coffee and/or hot chocolate. I bought this reusable plastic coffee cup from Micheals. Then I used my Cricut Explore 3 and designed a fun holiday picture in the Cricut Design space. If you want your kids to join in on the fun you can easily have them help you pick out a fun holiday design for their own cup. You can also personalize the cup by adding your child’s name!
Clear Ornaments
I absolutely love clear plastic ornaments for my kids. My kids both have small Christmas trees in their room so they love having personalized ornaments. I used my Cricut to design the ornaments! I added a Christmas tree on one side and the words snow day on the other side of the ornament. Then I allowed my kids to add some fake snow and glitter for the inside of the ornament!
Snowflake Ornaments
The first snow day is aways so exciting for my family. My daughter helped paint the snowflake ornament and then I added the snow day word design in gold. Also, adding the year with a Cricut is a great idea
Cloche Holiday Scene
You may or may not know what a cloche is, but it has a dome shaped top that’s usually clear and a bottom. I love using these to add a holiday scene inside. This is a great way to add personalized home decor throughout your home during the holidays. I had my daughter paint a little holiday themed house and she added fake snow inside. Then I added my Cricut design on the cloche to match the decor colors in my home for the holidays.
