The weather has been beautiful so that means more family adventures visiting new parks, tennis courts, and nature trails! The Ninja FrostVault Cooler has been a game changer for our outdoor trips! My kids are always asking for snacks and drinks during family outings. The top of the cooler stores cold beverages on ice and there’s a separate bottom compartment perfect for snacks, fruits, and sandwiches. I also love that this cooler has wheels making it so easy to move around!

Easter Event at Stony Point Fashion Park☀️

#ad The @Stonypointfashionpark Easter event was a highlight of our weekend! We enjoyed the petting zoo, Easter bunny photos, face painting and the children’s entrepreneur market! It was really fun meeting all the kids and parents stepping into being an entrepreneur. We also stopped by our favorite places @sunshineplayrva @stonypointdiscoverycenter for the kids to play and explore STEM activities! The weather is warming up so make sure you stop by Stony Point Fashion Park for shopping, restaurants and fun kid’s activities!

If you need to get some shopping done, @stonypointfashionpark offers a variety of Richmond based businesses and also my favorite retailers like Dillard’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Tiffany & Co. We stopped by @bitebybiteandco and had a delicious charcuterie board, my kids enjoyed playing at @sunshineplayrva, and we stopped by @stonypointdiscoverycenter which offers STEM programs, chess, and social programs for kids and teens!

Spring Break Fun🌊🌸☀️

We extended our spring break with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge! At the last minute we decided to surprise the kids with a quick trip to their favorite indoor/outdoor water park. Seeing the kids smiles and laughs is my favorite. A highlight of our trip is being able to all get on the big water slide together. God blessed me with the sweetest kids and the best husband. I cherish these family trips so much.

Spring Nails 🌸💅🏾

Let’s refresh my daughter’s nail collection! @ellamila has a variety of non-toxic nail polish and nail care products. I love the pretty spring pastel colors and the polish is fast drying! I’ve been teaching my daughter the importance of taking care of her natural nails. So the Ella + Milla nail care products have been great with adding to a weekly nail care routine. Colors used: Dream and Wings of Dawn with the gel top coat. I finished the manicure with the Lavender cutical oil!

If you’re looking for a museum that offers hands on learning + fun then the science museum is your place! There’s so much to explore here and lots of fun interactive STEM activities for kids. I love how excited my kids get when we’re here. We are a homeschool family so this is a great way for my kids to have hands on experience with science! I also love that every couple months there is a new featured exhibit. Currently NEW LEGO exhibit: Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO bricks! So if your kids love LEGOs definitely stop by! @sciencemuseumofvirginia

We are finding lots of joy in the simple things. The weather is warming up so trips to the park is a daily activity for us. The kids will be on spring break in a couple weeks. We’ll be spending most of our days relaxing at home. I also love finding free or inexpensive activities to do with my kids. Here is a list of fun + local activities you can do over spring break!

•Trips to local parks
•Visit the local splash pad
•Try a new ice cream spot
•Watch a new movie at a movie theater
•Family bowling
•Visit the Children’s Museum
•Pottery Painting for Kids

It’s time to spring forward🌸 I’m very exc

It’s time to spring forward🌸

I’m very excited about warmer weather and days outside on my patio. We spend lots of time in our backyard. My kids love playing on the trampoline and swings while I’m relaxing with a cup of tea. March is here so I’ll be doing a patio refresh. This includes power washing, getting a new rug, new mulch, and prepping for new green grass. I also have an outdoor bin filled with lots of spring theme toys like bubbles and chalk. My kids and I love being outside so I’m very intentional about creating a patio space that’s cozy and fun.

what’s the tea 🫖🌸

I’m really becoming a tea girl and I love it. I’ve been making healthier choices with what I eat and drink. I recently bought the prettiest tea kettle. I’ve been enjoying my mornings with my hot tea and orange blossom honey. The perfect match. I typically get my tea from Wegmans because they have such a good variety of tea. Currently sipping on ginger, chamomile and cinnamon herbal tea!
